Radiant burgundy-red, deeply lobed, delicate oak-like leaves form a full rosette. It matures early, holds its mild, non-bitter salad quality for a longtime, and is slow to bolt. Color is best in cool weather, but grows well spring, summer, and fall. Good for baby leaf. 50 day maturity.
